What are the differences between the Agency Artists & Tina?

EXPERIENCE

ALL of our artists are highly trained and our Agency Artists have been in the beauty game longer and TEACH many classes themselves. Tina has been specializing in bridal beauty for 10+ years with multiple publications and awards to her name.

STYLE

Our Team Artists are assigned based on availability for your date and style - we choose who you will be working with based on those 2 factors. The artist that you work with for your preview will be the artist you work with for your wedding.

What if I want to book a preview/trial run before booking?

Are there a minimum number of services?

Service minimums are enforced during the high season, March – May and October.

There are no service minimum requirements for January, February, July, and August. There are also no service minimum requirements for an event booked Monday through Thursday.

The service minimum for each artist during high season is $400 on Saturdays. This is PER service type - Hair or Makeup, not combined. Any appointment scheduled before the event date cannot be used to meet the artist's service minimum requirement.

Can I request an artist?

ABSOLUTELY.

When booking if you want to REQUEST an artist in our agency you would book the Agency Artists and let us know who you are requesting - this guarantees that you will be working with the artist of your choice. Should the requested artist be booked we will suggest another artist with similar style.

These artists are highly sought after and book out 4-6 months in advance.

What areas are do your service? Do you travel?

Have Makeup. Will Travel.

This has ALWAYS been my motto and I LOVE doing destination weddings.

While we do travel for weddings both nationally and internationally our "home base" is South Louisiana. We regularly travel to Natchez, Ms and from Destin to Austin along I-10.

Are previews required?

Required? No.

Recommended. YES.

We want to make sure that you get EXACTLY what you want for your wedding day and make sure that you are 100% happy.

We also want to make sure that your artists are 100% happy with the work they are providing - no one wants to feel like they weren't prepared for a job or that they didn't have enough time to meet expectations.

A preview helps BOTH you and your artistry team to create a relaxed and chill wedding day.

Can you do brown girls? Do I need to supply my own products?

It honestly breaks my heart every time someone asks me this question. Actually - it makes me MAD. Like BIG MAD.

But, YES! 100%. Absolutely. Of course. Any makeup artist who doesn’t, honestly has no business calling themselves a professional. I have experience working on literally all skin tones and have foundations and suitable colors to accommodate everyone and anyone in my makeup chair at any given time.

You as the client shouldn't have to provide ANY complection or styling products AT ALL.

How does the day of schedule go? How long it take for each person?

Unless specified, I do not typically do day of timelines.  You will have a set start time which will be determined by the amount of services needed, photographer arrival time for “getting ready” pics, first looks and ceremony time.  

I ask that everyone arrive at the set start time and come prepared with day old dry hair for styling and a fresh face for makeup.  The reason I do not do time slots is because everyone's hair type and desired style will be different.  I like to have everyone there and ready so things go smoothly on both ends.

Can I book BRIDE only services?

Of Course.

You will have to meet the minimum for services if you are in a peak month OR be flexible about your timing.
